This past weekend we attended the Pima Paws For Life one year birthday celebration.
Pima Paws for Life primarily takes in animals with health issues and nurses them back to help so they can be adopted. We hung out all day with the volunteers and a bunch of wonderful 4 legged furry friends.
There was a raffle with a great selection of gift baskets as well as some killer silent auction prizes such as a trip for two to Rocky Point.
Since it was a short one day event we just did a mini setup.
WATTO (Jon) had fun giving some sugar to the local residents.
Several of the kiddos found foster homes which will soon become permanent homes once they go through a trial period.
This guys was such a ham, slobbering, grunting and rolling, trying to climb in everyone's lap
to get some sugar. He was such a big lover and made a great model with those big eyes
and huge floppy tongue!
Erin Christiansen Chief Meteorologist of KGUN 9 News stopped by our booth and chatted with
us about the Midwest since I (Mary) am from Ohio and she is from Illinois. We were both
thrilled to be in beautiful sunshiny Tucson on this February day. She picked up a few
Outlaw Kritter items including the blinged Outlaw Doggy (Bandit) necklace she is wearing here.
She was not only beautiful, but so down to earth, and we had a lot of fun meeting her!
Several other vendors joined in the fun including local pet and family photographer Jessica Gardner of Peccadillo Studios (www.PeccadillosStudios.com).
Also, certified canine massage therapist and reiki master Nancy McDonald was there giving a rub down to the pooches. Those little pups looked so relaxed under her gentle touch. You can find her at http://www.animalallyaz.com/
Thanks to everyone who came out and to all of you who purchased our Outlaw Kritter gear!
